SPLG Annual Summer Conference 2018 – Booking now open
We are delighted to announce that booking is now open for the Scottish Public Law Group’s 10th Annual Summer Conference, taking place on Monday 11 June 2018 at The Sheraton Grand Hotel, Festival Square, Edinburgh.
The conference will cover a variety of public law topics including updates on recent public law cases from Scotland and the rest of the UK; developments in human rights law; discussion on access to justice in public law cases; and an examination of Brexit on public law from domestic and EU perspectives.
At this 10th Annual Summer Conference, the SPLG will hear keynote speeches from the Lord Advocate and the Advocate General for Scotland and other insights from a range of speakers including Ruth Charteris, Advocate, Arnot Manderson Advocates; Dr Paul Daly, Senior Lecturer in Public Law, University of Cambridge and the Derek Bowett Fellow in Law at Queens’ College, Cambridge; Martin Chamberlain QC, Brick Court Chambers; Prof. Catherine Barnard, Professor of European Union Law and Jean Monnet Chair of EU Law at the University of Cambridge; Elaine Motion, Chairman, Balfour+Manson; Prof. Rick Rawlings, Professor of Public Law at UCL; Prof. Alison Young, Sir David Williams Professor of Public Law at the University of Cambridge; and Jen Ang, Partner/Director of JustRight Scotland.
The event will be eligible for 6 hours CPD. Registration from 9am – 9.25am. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The conference will close at 5pm and will be followed by a drinks reception. The full programme will be available shortly.

Students studying toward an LLB or Dip.LP and Devil tickets are priced at £55. Please note that refunds are not available for any tickets purchased.
